Consuming alcohol with Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
 
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
 
Breastfeeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
 
Driving
UNSAFE
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive.
 
Kidney
CAUTION
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
 
Liver
CAUTION
Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
 
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CLAVUXAN TABLET?
If you miss a dose of Clavuxan 500mg/125mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
